Set up your workspace
From your website to a researched Brand, visibility baseline and first content plan.
You only need your public website URL to begin. Search Console and publishing connections are optional, and you can add them later.
1. Add your website
Enter your business's main website, then choose your audience's search market and language. Use a site that describes the business you want outwrite.ai to work on.
Market, language and timezone
- Search market: where your intended buyers search. This sets the geographic context for supported research and AI measurements, not your company's legal address.
- Language: the language your audience reads and searches in. It informs research, writing and supported visibility prompts.
- Timezone: when articles are scheduled and how dates appear. It follows daylight-saving rules where applicable and does not change your search market.
For example, a UK company selling mainly to US buyers can select the US market while keeping a UK scheduling timezone. Use the searchable selectors to find supported choices. Results shows when a measurement is unavailable for a market or language.
Choose one primary audience for the workspace. Worldwide Search Console data is shown separately; it does not mean every AI market is monitored. After changing your audience later, review planned topics and saved prompts. Historical results retain their original context.
2. Connect Search Console, if you use it
Choose Connect Google, authorize an account with access to your site, and select its matching property. Wait for the connection confirmation before continuing.
Existing search data helps identify what your site already covers and where relevant opportunities may exist. If your site is new or you don't use Search Console, choose Skip for now. outwrite.ai still researches your website and market.
Follow the Google Search Console guide if you need help choosing a property.
3. Choose where and when to publish
Connect your website platform, then choose article length, frequency, timezone and review policy. WordPress, WordPress.com, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer, Ghost and custom webhooks are supported.
You can also keep drafts in outwrite.ai and connect later. Review first means you approve articles. Autopilot lets eligible, checked articles follow your saved policy. A destination's Draft or Publish mode separately determines whether delivery creates a CMS draft or a live page.
Start with draft delivery if you want to check your website's formatting first. Nothing publishes during setup research.
4. Let outwrite.ai build your starting point
The research stages advance automatically. outwrite.ai discovers website pages, reads useful sources, builds your Brand, researches buyer opportunities and collects a visibility baseline.
It prioritizes pages about your offerings, customers and existing content. A discovered page count is different from the number read in depth. If the site leaves an important business detail unclear, setup may ask you to clarify it.
Findings are saved as work progresses. Closing the page does not erase completed research. If setup needs attention, follow the displayed next step or contact support rather than starting over.
5. Review your workspace
The handoff shows what was found, the first planned articles and what happens next. Check your business summary, target audience, sources and publishing choices, then enter your workspace. The first eligible article can now be prepared.
Your Plan shows the upcoming work and its purpose. Results holds the starting evidence, and Brand holds the context used for future writing.
Your first week
- Correct any important business facts in Brand and add links to writing examples you like.
- Review your first draft's claims, sources, tone and cover image.
- Check the first delivery in your actual CMS, including links, tables and images.
- Choose review-first publishing or autopilot once you're happy with the setup.
- Return to Results for a weekly review. You don't need to keep refreshing ideas to keep the work going.
